September 2015 is a big month below in Naxos as well as this issue of NEW ON NAXOS presents an interesting variety of over 20 new launches! Our limelight release is Leonard Bernstein’s questionable Symphony No. 3 ‘Kaddish’, with internationally well-known conductor Marin Alsop and the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. This launch accompanies Marin Alsop’s return as the conductor of the Last Night of the BBC Proms on 12 September this year. Additionally on the cd are Bernstein’s Missa Brevis and also The Lark.
